Shooting a Wedding

September 10, 2019 By admin

When shooting a wedding, being prepared is key, not only with your gear but with your location. Just looking at a location’s website or going off memory from a visit a while back isn’t going to cut it. Places change, get rearranged, and need to be explored first.

Recently I made a trip out to a location to get some shots and plan things out even before the wedding bells were ringing. Once the big day arrived, I was set from the start and knew exactly what look I wanted and how to work with each space. Weddings always have an element of spontaneity, but knowing your location shouldn’t be one of them.

Using this tutorial gave me some great ideas on the best way to work with where the nuptials were going to take place and helped me to take the best photos without sweating the details.
